How it works
List. Verify. Close.
What happens on both sides of a deal.
If you're selling
Six steps
List the assetOne question per screen. Pick domain, starter site, established business, or confidential. Listing is free; we take a fee only when a deal closes.
Connect your dataLink Stripe, Shopify, Analytics, PayPal, the App Store or your registrar for numbers straight from source. Or upload statements, cross-checked for consistency; mismatches go to a human, not an automatic rejection.
See your valuation and your red flagsA price range from your model, category, age and connected metrics, plus a risk report: customer concentration, single-channel traffic, churn trends, key-person dependency, AI-exposure.
Publish, openly or blindAn open listing shows everything. A confidential one shows a teaser and holds your name, URL and financials until you approve a buyer.
Approve who sees whatFor confidential listings, each buyer signs an NDA and verifies identity, then waits for your decision to approve or decline.
Agree terms and get paidOnce terms are settled, the buyer funds escrow, you work the transfer checklist for your asset type, and escrow releases when the buyer confirms. Our fee comes out of that release.
If you're buying
Six steps
Browse, or set a thesisFilter by type, verification tier and price. Or set a thesis: budget, sector, region, one email when something matches. Fully private listings never appear in search; a thesis is the only way they reach you.
What is verified, and what isn'tEvery listing carries its tier: connected live data, cross-checked documents, or the seller's unverified word. Unverified listings rank below verified ones.
Request access where it's gatedOn a confidential listing you sign an NDA, verify your identity, and the seller decides. A decline shares nothing beyond the teaser.
Run diligence on real dataThe risk report and diligence summary are pre-populated from the seller's connected accounts. Both are AI-assisted, not a substitute for professional diligence.
Agree terms and fund escrowYou pay a licensed third-party escrow provider, never Meor. Escrow confirms the funds before the seller starts transferring.
Confirm, then the money movesCheck the asset matches what was represented. Escrow releases to the seller only after you confirm. A mismatch goes to the dispute process.
What you can list
Four kinds of asset
Each carries a different disclosure and verification bar, deciding which questions you get asked when you list. All four are live from day one.
01
Domain only
Just the name, fully disclosed and fast to publish.
Full disclosure02
Starter site
A domain with a built site or store, and no revenue history yet.
Full disclosure03
Established business
Real revenue, traffic and customers, backed by connected-data verification.
Connected data04
Confidential
Identity staged behind an NDA and your approval, or fully private and shown only to matched investors.
NDA-gated revealTrust
Three verification tiers
Trust is the product: the tier is on the card, on the listing and in the search ranking.
Connected & verified
Highest tier
Revenue, churn and traffic pulled live from the seller's own accounts.
Document verified
Middle tier
Statements and contracts uploaded by the seller, cross-checked for consistency. Mismatches go to a human reviewer.
Self-reported figures with nothing behind them, ranked below verified listings in search.
Verified intake
Connect Stripe, Shopify, Analytics or your registrar for figures straight from source. Or upload documents, cross-checked for consistency.
AI valuation
A price range from business model, category, age and connected metrics, free before you list anything.
Red-flag report
Customer concentration, single-channel traffic, churn spikes, key-person dependency, AI-exposure.
Smart matching
Buyers set a thesis: budget, sector, region. One email when a listing matches, private listings included. Never a digest.
From offer to payout
Licensed escrow
Five states, visible to both sides. Nobody has to ask where the money is.
01Terms agreed
Price and conditions settled on-platform.
02Funds in escrow
Buyer has paid the licensed escrow provider, which confirmed the funds.
03Asset transferred
Seller works the transfer checklist generated for this asset type.
04Buyer confirms
Buyer checks the asset matches what was represented.
05Seller paid
Escrow releases. Meor's success fee splits out of the release.
Meor never holds your money. Funds sit with a licensed third-party escrow provider, Escrow.com at launch, with a regional option available. Selling a whole legal company goes to human legal review.
What it costs
You pay when it closes
Listing is free or close to it. Supply is the constraint on a young marketplace.
Success fee
Primary revenue
Charged only on a closed deal, scaled by size: a higher percentage on smaller deals, tapering as the deal grows.
Split out of the escrow release automatically; no separate invoice. Exact rates are not set yet.
Confidential listing
Optional upgrade
NDA-gated and fully private listings carry an upgrade fee, by tier. Pricing is not set yet.
Deep valuation report
Optional
The standard AI valuation is free, before you list. A paid report goes further into comparables and sensitivities.
Featured placement
Optional
Priority placement in browse. It never changes a listing's verification tier or hides a red flag.
Start where you are
Sellers can get a valuation before listing. Buyers can set a thesis before seeing a single deal.
